Forza Horizon 6 Update 5, also known as the British Automotive Update, brings a combination of new vehicles, seasonal rewards, drifting challenges, and changes to the open-world dealership. Although the update is advertised as featuring nine cars, several have already appeared in previous Forza titles, meaning the number of truly new additions is smaller. Nevertheless, there is plenty to discover, especially for players who enjoy collecting vehicles and finding smart ways to spend their Forza Horizon 6 Credits.
The Festival Playlist starts the update with three featured vehicles that can be unlocked through seasonal activities without purchasing additional DLC. The first is the 2025 Bentley Continental GT Speed. Players need to accumulate 80 Playlist points during the month to claim it. Under the hood, the GT Speed packs a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 producing close to 800 horsepower and 744 lb-ft of torque. While the Bentley may not become the fastest competitive car in every category, its huge body, powerful engine, and smooth handling could make it an excellent choice for cruising and drifting.
Next is the 2019 Ginetta G40 Junior, which requires 20 points during the Summer season. This lightweight racing machine takes a completely different approach from the Bentley. Its 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine produces only around 100 horsepower, but its low weight and race-oriented construction make it an exciting car to drive. The G40 Junior is also an excellent entry-level racing platform in real life. Because of that, many FH6 players will likely hope that the developers eventually add it to the Spec Racing rotation. There is currently no confirmation that this will happen, but the car seems like a natural fit for organized spec events.
The third Festival Playlist vehicle is the 2006 Vauxhall Astra VXR, which can be earned with 20 points during Winter. This British hot hatch uses a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine with roughly 230 horsepower and front-wheel drive. The Astra VXR has also been associated with real-world racing and track conversions, giving players plenty of potential for creative tuning. Although it is technically new to Horizon, longtime Forza fans may recognize it from earlier Motorsport games.
The Car Pass adds another group of vehicles to Update 5. One of the biggest highlights is the 2025 McLaren W1. Powered by a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 producing more than 1,200 horsepower, the W1 represents the latest generation of McLaren's legendary “1” series. Following the F1 and P1, it gives FH6 players another cutting-edge hypercar to experience. Its incredible performance should make it a favorite for high-speed races and highway challenges.
The 2023 Dodge Demon 170 arrives during the second Car Pass week. This extreme muscle car features a supercharged 6.2-liter V8 capable of producing more than 1,000 horsepower and 950 lb-ft of torque. In real life, the Demon 170 is famous for its extraordinary straight-line acceleration and ability to perform wheelies from a standing start. Some players may consider it too similar to other Challenger variants already available in FH6, but the Demon 170 has been one of the community's most requested additions.
The third Car Pass vehicle is the 1998 Renault Sport Spider. Its 2.0-liter engine makes around 150 horsepower, so outright speed is not its main attraction. Instead, the lightweight construction and unusual design should make it an entertaining car for casual driving and custom builds. The fourth addition is the 1987 Porsche 911 Carrera Luftauto 002. With a 3.2-liter flat-six producing approximately 250 horsepower, plus a reinforced chassis, redesigned suspension, and KW coilovers, this Porsche has a rugged personality that should make it especially enjoyable for off-road adventures.
One of Update 5's most important gameplay additions is Drift Attack. The new activity works somewhat like a time-attack competition, but the objective is to maximize drift performance rather than simply set the fastest lap. Players must navigate a dedicated drift course, hit clipping points, and earn the highest possible score. The system gives drift-focused players another structured challenge and provides a reason to experiment with different tuning setups.
The 1990 Jaguar XJS is also joining the Auto Show, while a special Forza Edition version can be earned through Drift Attack. In addition, the stadium's regular used-car dealership is temporarily being transformed into a British car dealer. Players may find rare vehicles such as the 2019 Aston Martin DBS and 1961 Jaguar E-Type. Since these cars have previously been harder to obtain, collectors may want to watch the dealership closely and consider their potential value on the Auction House after the temporary event ends.
There is also disappointing news for McLaren fans. The McLaren Senna is not part of Update 5. Reports suggest licensing complications surrounding the Senna name may be responsible, although the exact situation has not been officially detailed. Meanwhile, players can look ahead to Update 6, titled Horizon Meets. It will feature temporary 7-Eleven evolving-world content, a permanent EventLab content pack, new-to-Horizon cars, and a new profile badge. The temporary nature of the 7-Eleven content has already sparked debate, particularly because of its connection to Japanese automotive culture. Players are also wondering whether the Edamame circuit will disappear without a suitable replacement.
Overall, Update 5 delivers a diverse selection of British vehicles, modern performance cars, rare dealership opportunities, and a new drifting activity. From the Bentley Continental GT Speed and Ginetta G40 Junior to the McLaren W1 and Porsche 911, the update offers something for collectors, racers, and drift enthusiasts alike. With cheap Forza Horizon 6 Credits, players can focus on progressing efficiently, unlocking the latest rewards, and building a garage ready for the upcoming Horizon Meets content.
